How to disable the "the more the screen turns on..." prompt notification?

I have battery saving features enabled on my 530, so the screen goes dark during a ride—which is awesome as it saves a ton of battery life. Every now and again I would like to know something like what time it is, how far I've ridden, what the temperature is, or whatever. And when I do this, far too often for my liking the unit gives me a prompt informing me that the more often the screen turns on, the less time the battery will last.

The first time it did this, I thought "Hey thanks, Garmin. Good looking out." But there's no way to tell the unit to never show that to me again, and to add insult to injury the prompt KEEPS THE SCREEN ON until I dismiss it... which is basically doing the EXACT thing it's warning me about: using my battery. 

Is there a way to permanently dismiss this prompt?

    That really does not surprise me, Garmin developers sometimes seem especially clueless. I don't know if there is any significant difference to the saving achieved between using the screen turning off via battery save mode and just setting backlight to zero, it might depend on the screen being displayed, data vs map?

    i frequently get 45 hours+ from the battery not via battery save mode but setting individual items to minimise cpu / battery use. No BT, no wi-fi, minimum (10%) backlight, turns off after 15s, smart recording, only speed & cadence sensors, no turn guidance but mostly showing map screen with route being followed, some course points. At night I find constant 10% enough and not too draining although would be nice to have a touch screen model so it could be off and activated via a screen touch rather than button

    I tried it yesterday on a  4 hour ride on my 530, I tried riding in "battery saving" mode and also in "sleep" mode and not once did I see this notification in either mode either when it woke itself up or I pressed a button etc.

    Is there an option tucked away somewhere in the menu's to turn Tips off and I might have enabled it in the long distant past?

    This is with V9.40.

    I have been out today for another 3 hours with "Battery Save" on, I have still not seen this notification pop up whether I awake it with a button press or it wakes itself up.
