use apple watch to measure heart rate

Hi, I have bought a Garmin Edge 530 and I would like to use my Apple Watch 7 as a heart rate monitor. how can I do it?

You can just use the Echo heart rate app from the app store. Connects to Garmin. You need your phone with you
