[bug] Neuromuscular zone is always 0

Garmin connect doesn't show time in Neuromuscular zone

which is not correct,

I can check my 20sec max avg. from that activity, and it clearly shows the power ....

The last activity i can see with proper neuro zone is from 16th March,  activity from 17th (and later) doesn't have it anymore.

I can see 0 in neuromuscular zone on Android Connect and Web Connect, so i guess it's calculated by my Edge 530 ?

it worked before: (this is from Feb)

  • in the edge 530 you can select 2 types of powerzones, one with 7 zones and another one with 9 zones. I have experienced that after upgrade the 9 zones got selected and then indeed my zone 7 recorded empty. With 7 zones it works fine

  • i didn't change my zones, only FTP was updated automatically few times by Edge

  • I have a similar issue with my garmin 530. It looks like there is a bit of a mixup in the powerzone settings and in the visualisation.

When I look on the garmin connect website in the user settings of my 530 I see 7 power zones configured.

However when I look on my 530 (Menu > My stats > Training Zones > Power Zones) I see that the configuration is set to "9 coggan iLevels".

When I lookup the time in zone for an activity either on the garmin connect website or on the summary of the activity on the edge itself I see 9 zones:
Strangely, the 7th zones upperlimit is somehow below the lower limit.

When I lookup the time in zone (of the same activity) in the android app I see 7 zones with an empty 7th zone.

For now I changed the setting on the 530 to 7 powerzones, hopefully that fixes the wierd behavior.
I'm going for a ride tomorrow, will let you know if it helped.

  • I've just checked my 530, I have 7 zones :/
