Edge 530 9.4 upgrade issue acquiring satellites

Just upgraded to 9.4 firmware and 530 is not acquiring satellites. Eventually, it did (after 30 minutes of riding known territory. Then was in and out of connection for remainder of the ride.

Have had this device about 4 months and has worked very well till now. Sometimes a lag in speed indicator however. But it at least kept a satellite signal constant.

Is this a firmware or hardware issue?

Try a reset by holding the power button for about 10sec. It's best to wait for the GPS signal before starting a ride.

Does not affect signal pickup

I have the same issue, it worked perfectly until this version. Mine never got satellites

Roll your firmware back and stop auto-updates, there are a couple of threads here with plenty of info about how to do that.
A permanent fix is to buy a Wahoo instead :)

Garmin Customer Support was actually very helpful. Went through all the same steps of cycling through updates and resets.
