When i turn on the device, no sensors connect automatically. I have to click into each sensor then select "Connect" for the computer to connect to the sensor. This is annoying to do each ride. Short of resetting the device, what can i do?

I have had this problem for weeks probably months. Tbh I've given up. I've done a factory reset. Usually one sensor connects, ant plus, lights, power don't
Out of interest, do you have ant+ lights?
I don't have light controlled by the Garmin but turning Bluetooth and WiFi certainly stopped the dropouts. Not the best solution.
Yep I've been having issues for about 6 months and things have got worse with SW 9.40
I have to go through each sensor forcing connect. For the Light Network I have to search for an additional light. After a few seconds back out of the page and the light network is formed.
Irritating, as I have to faf with the Garmin at the start of each ride.
I've found a solution. Fully shutdown the device after each ride. Hold power and press shut down. Don't use standby. Seems on now.
Yes I've done that and lost the track of the ride but not the statistics, which was bizarre. I'd rather go through each sensor than loose detail of the ride. The software team just need to find what they did wrong and fix it
Agreed defo needs fixing. I make sure it's synced fully before turning it off fully
I'm just going to throw out a couple of ideas..
Are you certain your batteries are fresh and installed correctly? You may find that those "discount" batteries you saved a bundle on aren't any good. Also, some batteries will have a plastic coating or tab that should be removed before installation. If you haven't been removing and installing your batteries carefully the tabs in the unit might not be making contact and will need to be re-aligned.
