GPS and Acquiring Satellites

My Edge 530 stopped acquiring GPS satellites and does not display speed or distance.  I sync regularly with Garmin connect and the software is v9.1.  The Edge 530 worked great for two months and then started to have problems with locating satellites.  I checked in Settings and GPS is on.  I'm at a loss on how to correct this problem.

    Have you tried each of the various GPS formats offered?  If the problem still persists I would bite the bullet and reset your 530 and start setting it up from ground zero.

    Yes, I tried the other 2 formats, no results.  I tried a factory reset, no results.  Garmin customer service tried a few file deletes and such, still no results. Garmin suspects the unit is defective.  Because the 530 edge was relatively new, Garmin exchanged it for a new unit. The new one works perfectly, so I'm now a happy customer.
