SRM power meter not connecting to my garmin edge 530 ?

Hi, just get my SRM power meter from original service, they replace the battery! Cant connect it to my garmin 530.

GOING CRAZY :D

The old model SRM with the soldiered battery has a bottom bracket magnet that is used to wake it up and also cadence. I just had mine serviced.

Try another battery. Too many times I've seen a simple issue like a dodgy battery cause no end of problems for the device it powers.

the old SRM has unique soldered (this is why the poster sent it back to the SRM support) inbuilt battery...

Thanks for the clarification. Sounds to me like SRM didnt do their QA on the replacement....

The cadence magnet is mounted on the bike. You only send the crank into SRM. So the magnet should still have been on the bike when the crank came back and was re-installed.

Maybe whoever pulled the crank also took the magnet off.

heiii, there is new problem

just put the TRI bike of the trainer (from ELITE DIRETO xr power meter to SRM powermeter (new batteri and new magnet under the BB))and it paird immediately #happyasshell and the i start to ride and ther is no power data on my garmin 530????
