530 can't update maps

Need help, just bought a new device, FW update to ver 9.10. Express shows a cycle map update to 2021.20 but I can't install due to an error. Anyone had it resolved please ?

Same problem here for my Edge 1030 Plus (Germany, newest win 10 pro 64 bit, Garmin Express 7.10.0.0, plenty of free disk space):

"Bei der Installation des Updates ist ein Fehler aufgetreten."

mine did start the process, but it is stuck at 73.3% for quite some time now

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling Garmin Express? It worked for me afterwards.

different computer, fresh installation, and now the installation process does not even start. I get the same error message as the OP.

I had same issue, you need at least 20 GB free space. on your C: disk.

sorry for the Portuguese interface, but basically 216GB free, and stuck at 73.3%.

the edge has 10,5GB free

Did you try a different computer ?

I did. same issue... just tried removing the maps from the Edge, same problem...

apparently when this stops, a .img file inside Garmin\ stops being downloaded. It stops with a size of 2 640 640 (kind of suspicious file size).

I did try to reach out to Garmin for support, and have sent some log files, but no reply whatsoever.
