Garmin, please add manual backlight adjustment under power button like in 520+

As every knows the backlight adjustment in auto mode is not always good. In some situation we want to manual adjustment this but this option is deep hide in system settings. It is very difficult to change it without stopping. In 520+ this was under power button - one short click and the brightness menu was showing. In 530 we have a small menu with 3 commands but without backlight adjustment. Please add one position for backlight adjustment in this menu. It will very useful for everyone who want to fast chang backlight level without stopping.

Mike there is a fast way, press the back(bottom right) button when your in an activity, then press scroll up (middle left) button this takes you to the status page Status page then press the enter button and scroll to your brightness and make changes

it would be better to have some kind of configurable shortcuts (like in forerunner or fenix - hold one or two buttons).

its literally pressing 2 button to navigate to see the brightness.

I have set my display auto - brightness disabled, Brightness to 20% and more importantly Backlight Timeout to Stays On and Battery Save Mode disabled and I only lose 5-10% battery after 50-60km ride and never had issues in daylight or night-time

It is too many clicks! When I ride, I want to have simple way to change it. In 520+ it was just only one click to popup backlight settings. Yesterday during 2 hours of activity battery losed 21% with autobrightness (cloudly day). Sometime I do long trips 10-15 hours and I prefere to have easy controll off backlight level. After 10 hours with navigation and often changing course Edge can lose whole batterry (backlight + course recalculating) :(

ok i just checked. Press back, press up , press menu, double press down, turn off/on autobrightnes (and between this adjustment). This is simple? 5 clikcs just to enter brightnes :D cmon :)

Better way to do this hold shortcut (for example down+back) - brightnes screen appears. Press up for + press down for - (even better if we coulld configure auto-20%-50%-100 steps - on etrex you can configure <without auto> )

Auto-20-50-100 and additional 'screen saver mode' in system settings (time and backlight level) up to pressing button or notification on device :)

unfortunetly this is only my "wish" for garmin. There are no shortcuts in garmin edge :(

I guess it is 6, not 5, but at least you found the shorter way to auto backlight. To get to the backlight timeout or to the backlight level needs around 20 clicks. I just documented it here: forums.garmin.com/.../1340497
