Notes:

  • For any issues that you encounter please fill out the form included in the download and attach it to an email to [email protected]. Please note that you may not get a response to the email unless we need more information on the issue you report.
  • Although this software is believed to be reliable, it has not yet been released for production and should be used at your own risk.

Changes made from version 9.00 to 9.10:

  • Fixed issue introduced in a recent public beta where the ANT search channel could remain open for the whole ride causing potential connectivity issues and draining battery unnecessarily.

Changes made from version 8.63 to 9.00:

  • Fixed Back to Start issue when selecting Most Direct Route
  • Fixed issue where LiveTrack could not be started
  • Added a routing avoidance setting for interstate highways that allow bicycles. Previously, a user could not create a cycling route on interstates, even if the interstate allowed cycling.

Changes made from version 8.20 to 8.63:

  • Fixed device-to-device transfers
  • Added new tone for radar that that plays when your radar transitions to the green threat level. Go to the radar settings in the sensors menu to enable this feature.
  • Improved bike light network connection stability
  • Improved course point display and added new types
  • Improved Course 'Always Show' functionality
  • Improved shifting sensor battery data fields
  • Improved Physio True-up data recording
  • Improved indoor trainer control
  • Improved sensor search flow
  • Fixed issue causing unnecessary sensor software update prompts
  • Fixed power calibration prompt when waking from sleep mode
  • Fixed history line color
  • Fixed issue with left/right power balance recording
  • Fixed issue with GPS not turning off in indoor mode
  • Fixed the power graph during workout steps with no power target
  • Fixed issue where on-device Training Plan would not allow riding one-step workouts
  • Fixed issues with CIQ data field alerts and widget pages
  • Improved general device stability
  • So disappointed with the new DI2 battery indicator.  The previous version had easy to view percentage and battery icon, now it is a tiny gear and very small battery.

  • That sounds rubbish. Garmin seem to think that all of their customers can read the licence plate of a fighter jet doing 800mph at a mile distance.  Almost all the fields on the 530 waste 50% of the screen space, I've had to create my own bigger fields.

  • Agreed, much prefer the old number for DI2 battery.

And before anyone asks, yes, I am still getting dropouts on my garmin dual HRM and shimano power meter.

  • Device-to-device transfer still doesn't work properly for courses. Tried it a few times and it reports Failed. Although, it does manage to transfer some of it. Not sure if it's related to have live segments in the course.

  • Had initial connection issues with both this and the previous version (9.10 and 9.00) with all my sensors.

Assioma Duo, Bontrager Flare RT and Ion 200 RT, Di2 and Wahoo HRM.

After powering on, the devices hadn't connected. Had to do search for devices a couple of times for them to be detected and then they would connect (without having to re-add them)
