On the weekend I installed V8.63 Beta to do some testing especially of the "Improved indoor trainer control" on my Tacx Flow "Smart" Trainer.
I have a few short "Test" courses (3kms of near constant 5-7% grade) that I use a lot for reviewing the impact of bike fit adjustments. On Saturday I did a 50km outside ride in the morning and 7 of these shorter Indoor rides and when I "Synced" (via Wi-Fi) the message said "Sync completed, 8 Rides Uploaded". Similar on Sunday with a longer outside ride and 4 short Indoor ones and again "5 Rides Uploaded"
But when I went to Garmin Connect to review the rides only the two longer ones were there? I have manually uploaded some of the shorter rides and they upload ok.
So the question is, has Garmin implemented some distance filtering on uploads or is there perhaps something wrong with V8.63 uploading?
As an aside the Indoor Training with v8.63 does not look very much "Improved". Dozens of "xxx sensor Found" during the rides but the data only shows two gaps, I have never had this sensor lost / found issue before and the average speed of these tests was almost double the many previous trials with these courses even though my Power was reported as being a fair bit lower, looks to me as if the grade being used was zero rather than the mostly 5 - 7% as I also did a "Set Grade" test with 0% and got much the same average speed.
