During Summer 2021, I set 15 PRs on my local climbs. At the time, the Edge 530 was launching the Strava Live segment and tracking during the climbs. Afterwards, Strava boards would update my PRs. Also, my Segments on Garmin Connect website shows the new PR. My Garmin connect website setting for segments is to use Strava segments, not Garmin segments.
Regardless of how many times I sync the device via cable plugged into a computer and using Garmin express, the new PR version of the segment does not sync down to the 530.
I have manually deleted all segments on the 530 including the segment list file, shut down the 530 and unplugged it from the computer. Then I started the 530 and verified no segments are on the 530. Finally, I performed a re-sync using Garmin Express with the 530 plugged into the computer.
All this, multiple times, to no avail. The segments on the 530 reflect the segment prior to my Summer PRs.
I really would like this resolved because chasing PRs is a key feature that I use frequently.
