Brick workout- Bike-> Run with Edge 530 and fenix 6

Hey team!

As my fitness improves I am ready to do my first brick workout starting from bike and transitioning to run. My question is this: What is the best way to set this up with and Edge 530 and fenix 6? Do I just record the whole thing on my watch and extend display? How do I transition from the Edge (bike) to fenix (run)? 

I am aware of the multisport activity on my watch- that is straight forward, I just don't understand how to also use my Edge 530 as well
