route creation

Can a route be created using a number waypoints on the Edge 530 unit itself. This can be done on other units  but is it missing on the 530?

    even if a multiple waypoints route could be created on the 530 - i wouldn't bother in real life. It'll take to many presses of the button to move the cursor and the route the unit chooses would 9/10 times be not the one you'll want to use anyway....so i'll rather use an app like komoot to plan the route then transfer it to the 530....here you're hoping you're able to get the 530 to pick that up from your phone - can take numerous tries....and it can still fail. In the meantime your other ride buddies will be either laughing at you for spending the $$$ on the 530 or cursing at you for relying on the 530.
