How to send course via bluetooth without active internet connection?

Hello everyone!

Does anyone know if it's possible to send a course to this device when there is no active internet connection on the smartphone? I've tried gimporter widget but it unfortunately doesn't download track without active internet connection.

P.S. I know it's possible to send tracks/courses via USB OTG but to be honest it's less convenient option than bluetooth. Plus connecting USB OTG mid-ride for some reason ends paused activity

Haven't tested it myself, but my understanding is that the Garmin Explore phone app allows syncing without a data connection. (Instead of using Garmin Connect).

Unfortunately it doesn't support garmin edge devices -(
