Transfer 530 settings to 830

I haven't done it but im 99% sure that you can just copy all those files and paste them to the "new files" folder in the new device. You might find that there's a simpler approach when using GC mobile to fire up the new unit. Unless someone here has done it i would synch your 530 on the GC app then fire up the 830 and connect to the app. If there's no wizard or it isn't comprehensive you can always revert to the manual copy / paste of files.

Putting the .fit files from the 530 into the 830 newfiles folder worked great. Thanks.

The only thing to check is that POI search works. The 530 does not support that so the settings file has that feature set to off.
