Performance condition missing

Anyone have a clue why I'm not seeing the performance condition data/graph for my indoor rides? I run it parallel with my trainer (to get TSS/IF/TS etc) while Zwifting and it picks up the HR and power data but the PC is missing. OK, the speed is technically missing apart from GPS desperately trying to get a location indoors but surely speed should not be required?

  • I would first recommend using an indoor Activity Profile when riding indoors so your device isn't searching for a GPS signal when one isn't available. Also, does your Trainer have the option to broadcast speed/distance data?

  • Ah, thanks for the pointers, didn't remember that there was the indoor option. And I have the Tacx Flux S which should support the speed/cadence-profile. Let's see if it has any effect on the performance indicator data, I'll add the field to the screen, one would think that if it visible, it would be stored also

  • @nik I get PC during indoor rides, and i'm using the outdoor profile, only i disabled the GPS (i had no time set 3-4 datapages with 10 datafields again...). I dont have speed sensor connected, so the distance is 0 , and it works as it should (Power and Cadence is coming from P2M NG, HR from HR belt Slight smile )    Check your maxHR setting, sometimes due to the auto-detect feature (if enabled) it changes to a very high and false value.. (or due to any unknown reason it changes from one moment to the next...) To get  PC message You need to reach your ~70%MaxHR value for a short time period at least, so every training which is harder than a recovery/very low aerobic training has PC analysis and message/value.

  • Ah, that's it! It was a 60% base endurance ride. I see the PC on another more intensive ride.

  • Ah, that's it! It was a 60% base endurance ride

Have you successfully recorded a ride in a higher HR zone?

  • Yes, I get the PC for more intense indoor rides. Strangely enough, I also get PC for outdoor rides with only a slightly higher average HR than the indoor ride missing it.
