~25 mile loop planned out via Komoot and saved offline to Edge 530. Selected the course, started navigation, then did a couple of donuts in the parking lot while waiting for others to get going. Accidentally tripped over the end point, got the "Course completed!" notification (200 feet tracked so far - woot!), and the navigation line disappeared. So I reselect the course, confirm the "this will replace your current course" warning, and then complete the loop with the unit providing me step-by-step navigation instructions as expected. I get back to the end, hit stop, and save, and discover it only saved my initial ~200 foot donut; the rest of my evening was lost to the ether.
Is there some weird mode of this device where it will navigate but not track? What's the correct sequence to restart a course when I hit the initial defect and it marks me as done right from the start?
