530 Version 8.20

Changes made from 8.10 to 8.20:

Fixed issues with unlocking and using Trailforks maps
Fixed issue with Fazua BLE Scanning
Fixed issue with viewing incidents on the map
Fixed crashes with third party maps

What does "viewing incidents on the map" mean?

Nothing on the apparent increase in sensor drop outs?

Still no switch to disable "Direction Arrows"?

No, these (introduced at 8.00 with no switch to disable them)

There's a zillion posts about sensor dropouts since 8.00 and that isn't fixed in the new beta ??????

Haven't got the 8.2 but in the 8.13 couldn't get "Back to start direct" working.

Is it only me?

Using MTB so off-roards of course...

maps crashes was in 8.0 - more than month ago and fixed just now. Huge lag...

My edge 530 has been automatically updated.I switched to 8.20 software vesrion from 7.10/Is this possible?/.MY VAM isn't working correctly after this update.What must I do?

Search for one of the 7.19, 7.23 or 7.24 Beta threads in this forum, these contain a link to downloaded the betas and a copy of the 7.10 Release update for when you might want to revert from the beta. you rename the 7.10 Release update to GUPDATE.GCD and place it in the device Garmin directory. Note that the revert will reset your settings to default so first you need to save the settings.fit files (search for details which files and how to copy them in this forum too)

PS The 7.xx betas might not be available still as I noticed some 7.xx beta links take you to 8.xx betas instead
