I am running v8.10.
For today's lunch ride I selected my workout and began my ride. About 20 minutes in, I noticed I selected the wrong workout. I went into the workout menu and chose "stop workout". Then went back into the activity workouts menu and found the workout I wanted and selected "ride". I was taken back into the previous workout at the point I stopped it. I repeated the process and after stopping the workout, I cycled through the pages and the workout page was not available, then selected my new workout, and again, I was returned to the previous workout where I left off. Eventually, I ended the ride and started a new ride with the correct workout which worked as expected. Is this a bug or was my workflow wrong?
