How to update Totals from 520 to 530?

Hello,

I know other people have asked this question in the past. I tried using http://garmin.kiesewetter.nl to convert to a CSV file, but I keep getting an error. Maybe that site doesn't work anymore.

I tried just copying the Totals.fit file from my old 520 to the 530 with no luck either. I just can't believe there is not an easy way to do this. It did seamlessly copy my data screens for my activities when I first set it up.

Any guidance would be much apprecaited.

When you copied the totals.fit file across did you put it in the NewFiles folder on the 530?

It is possible to edit the Totals file on the 830 to have numbers you want. If you have a fit file editor you can do it yourself or if you post the file here and let us know the numbers you want I can do it.

Many thanks to the guys that helped me withe totals.fit modifications. But should be a easy way to do it directly on the unit.

Thank you. What is interesting is it copied so many other information from the old to the new one, like the activity profiles and personal records. Attached is the Totals.fit from the 530. The correct Device Totals are: 360 Rides, 646:11:56 Time, 11739 miles, 362091 calories. Train totals are 20 rides, 41:13:07 time, 620 miles, 21398 calories. ( I hope I attached the file correctly)

That appears to be corrupted. Can you zip up the total file and attach the zip file to a post?

Thanks for helping me. I resaved the Totals.fit file from the Garmin and zipped it up.

Something is going wrong. I can't open that zip file.
