So my 530 used to basically be instant lock on as I went out the door but now it sometimes just doesn't seem to lock on, speed is set to 0km/h and on the map screen it says acquiring satellites.
A few times it has fixed itself after 2-3 minutes but I've found another way to fix it instantly each time and that is to forcefully power off the device and then power it on again as soon as possible. Then I will have a instant lock on.
Yesterday I lost the GPS around 1hour 30 minutes into the ride, same acquiring satellites on the map screen. GPS signal on the status screen seemed to be strong, I decided to stop on the side of the road for 2 minutes or so but no lock on. Then I paused the ride, powered off the device by force and turned into back on. And instant lock on again.
Hardware failing or some recent update that has done this? This unit has worked perfectly until the last 2-3 months after which this gps issue + some sensor drops have been happening.
