Entering known elevation

I am on the dialog for entering elevation, but I am having trouble navigating it. Right now, it shows -00002 ft. I am trouble getting rid of the - sign, moving the cursor to the right or left, or removing the extra zeros.

How do I move the cursor right or left?

The erase and _ symbols don't do anything. How do I erase?

I must be missing something very obvious here. Please help!!!

BTW, I am using a 530+ with the latest firmware.

The zeros aren't removed. You must enter all the digits. Enter as many leading zeros as you need. For changing the - to a +, there is a suitable simbol in the digits column.

Thank you for the response. I was able to change the elevation.

This is not a very intuitive interface.
