Load a saved Offline Route on iPhone (Komoot App) to Edge1030 (with bluetooth only)

I have saved a route on the Komoot app (iPhone) and marked it as available offline.

Now I want to download the saved route via Bluetooth (without internet connection) to my Edge 1030

But for some reason the route is not displayed to me. If I turn on the internet connection on the iPhone the route is displayed to me (on the Edge 1030).

Question:
Why can't I see the route when I am only connected via Bluetooth? Is the route not saved as an offline route on my iPhone?

    Sorry if obvious question, but have you linked your komoot and garmin accounts ? You need to give garmin permisson via the komoot settings page. Then for me the route just appears in garmin connect and on the unit (next synch). It has to go via GC, i believe.
