My Edge 530 is not starting and is not charging, I plugged it to my computer to start charging and nothing, dead.

First try a different USB cable and see if that fixes the charging issue. If that does not work inspect the USB port on the Edge for damage.

My Garmin Edge 530 is not charging. No indicator comes to show that it is charging I checked the usb cables and there is nothing wrong . The unit is 5 months old.

I had the same problem yesterday ... After device Reset it started working OK. In order to Reset the device you have to keep pressed the switch ON button for at least 10 seconds.

I'm with the latest 9.1 firmware and this problem happens for the first time.

Wow.. Thanks 10 second hold really works, its strange ,  typically temperamental perhaps ! ;}

This was excellent I had same issue and pressing the button for 10sec+ worked
