Global Maps? (Israel)

Hi,

I just got the Garmin Edge 530 and also moved to Israel. Garmin does not sell maps for Israel. I found some places to download them online but am wondering about the quality and accuracy of free maps. Does anyone know where to look for the most accurate maps?

Thank you, I had found this article. I was just curious if you had any idea about the quality of the maps I can expect in downloading openstreet maps vs. what Garmin offers (in markets where it offers maps)? Do you think the quality will be a lot worse?

Garmin uses OpenStreetMap data for their cycling maps. The quality will be just the same as it is from Garmin.

I didnt find a way how to download the maps , it seems like the download option was removed from the site for all countries

were you able to resolve this issue? open maps says it will take 324 days.

Go to https://extract.bbbike.org/ for Garmin compatible maps.
