how do i turn 'support for including metabolic calories in the total calories reported in the calories data field and recorded in the activity file'. in V8?

I don't want metabolic caloies to count

But it doesn't help stop this change that came with v8.00 software as far as I can see...

I filed a support ticket and was told (quoted below) that there is no way. Absurd

Okay, thank you. There isn't a way to disable that since it's part of the way the 530 calculates calories now. You can submit feedback below if you'd like to our developers to consider having this changed.
