Edge 530 not recording first 25-30% of map portion of the ride ???

All the other data looks good except the map and is frustrating as I use segments to track my progress. Has happened twice now .. after the first time I made sure all the updates were done on the Edge 530 and the Connect app and it did it again ... just figured I would ask here before a hard reset or factory reset;... the edge has worked very well for me the past year and half so far.

You dont have "map" because the GPS is not working in the 1st part, so simple. Delete all files from remotesw, gps (?) and newfiles folders, do a factory reset and test again. I bet it will work good again.

I did what Luko79 said and just did 2 short tests and all looks great .. thank you
