Edge 530 v7.10.0.0 Constant Crashes, Sensor Drops, Routing Issues

I have a new (4/21/21) Edge 530 MTB Bundle. I started using it the day I received it. EVERY ride something has gone wrong. It's dropped my HR (Garmin and Wahoo) sensor and cadence sensor; sometimes they come back, other times I have to power cycle the device to get them back. A few times it has froze and all the buttons became unresponsive and I have had to hold the power button for 10ish seconds before it reboots. About an hour and a half in to my ride yesterday (5/10) my HR and cadence sensor both dropped simultaneously, neither would reconnect. I tried disabling and enabling via the sensor menu and also tried the connect option in each sensor menu, no dice. Neither sensor is paired with anything other than the Edge. I then opened Strava on my phone and was able to connect to the HR sensor immediately so I believe the issue is with the Edge, not the HR sensor. The cadence data in Connect once my ride uploads has been wonky for EVERY ride, showing a low number, 28 for instance as my peak value and then a ridiculous average, high hundreds. Yesterday I rode 47ish miles and the Edge showed a 0 for training load in my summary and once it uploaded to Connect it showed I had burned like 867 calories, also incorrect for +2hrs at Z2 and +1hr of Z3. Frustrating to say the least.

As far as mapping goes, I select a course and see multiple routes if you will. I have turned off popularity routing and select the course I want to ride, but see other highlighted options and I don't understand why; I'm not talking about my history line either. Yesterday it told me to turn right, I did, and then it prompted me to recalculate (I don't want it to do it automatically) I thought maybe I took the wrong "line" that was displayed on the map even though it told me to turn right. Long story short, I should have turned right as it directed me to but why the heck did it want to recalculate when I did?!?!?! I spent the next hour plus checking the route on my phone to make sure the unit was telling me correctly. I've included a couple pictures showing what I believe to be the "extra route" on my course, not the best as it was very sunny. When zoomed way in you can see a purple line beneath the green line, I was supposed to turn left (and did) but why is the green "route" displayed? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I contacted Garmin this past weekend and they told me there were some corrupt files on my device, had me delete a few folders, empty my trash, and then told me to test it. Yesterday was the test and it failed miserably.
