I understand the Edge 530 supports 'extended display' with a compatible watch, where the watch becomes the primary computer and the Edge a monitor. I have a Fenix 6 and Edge 530, I'd like to use the Edge screen to display my navigation screen with turn-by-turn instructions and then the Fenix for other route metrics (e.g. ETA, HR, Speed, Cadence etc).
It seems I'd only be able to do that recording the activity on both watch and edge and then discarding one or do people have another setup that works? Thanks!
