Riding with edge 530, forerunner 945 and Varia rtl515

Hello. Looking through the forum I found out that many use bike computer as extended display for the watch. I do the same. What was fine for me but recently I’ve added varia radar to my bike and get the problem that edge don’t  show incoming cars. Looking on the watch is not comfortable. Does anybody know if the radar indications from a paired Varia RTL515 will show up on the Edge when it is in extended mode?

    Kind of, when in Extended mode the Edge will pair directly with the radar. This will give you the radar overlay over the top of the data being displayed from the watch.

    Hello. Thank you for reply. Unfortunately it is not working. As soon as edge is turned extended mode it has disconnected from all sensors and Varia RTL only have connection with watch. Maybe I doing something wrong?

    Try turning on the radar AFTER you have the watch and Edge 530 connected via Extended Display. The radar symbol should show in white in the top RH corner.

    This seems to work for me (rtl510), although this is an indoor test only - haven't verified it outdoors that it picks up traffic.

    Although most of the time I use the Edge as my primary display - I only use Extended Display for tri's or brick sessions.
