Is the super zoom in navigation bug going to be fixed?

Whilst I’ve been managing this bug so far I really struggled on a group ride today because the roundabouts and most junctions were too zoomed in to see a helpful graphic, to see where I’m going. Friends with wahoo units were able to navigate perfectly well with exactly the same Strava route file.

it’s been logged on this forum a few times and I’d really appreciate it if garmin can confirm that they are working on it.

Seems like the 530 struggles with roundabouts full stop. I have loads of issues with incorrect icon direction (ie it shows a left turn when it should be a right turn) and also issues with incorrect roundabout exit number - ie it tells me 4th exit when its actually 3rd exit and so on. Makes trying to navigate with TBT directions pretty useless

If you are seeing the incorrect exit number at roundabouts I would be looking at the OSM map data for that roundabout. In my experience an error there will cause this to happen.

Its correct with some other OSM based maps (openfiet for example) so perhaps its just the age of the Garmin maps still containing incorrect data

If it is correct when you look at the OSM data you are just waiting for that fix to make its way to the Garmin maps.

Just to explain, on the whole, any text bug is a different bug to the super zoom bug. As Wongataa has explained, the text error would be down to the map, wheras the super zoom is a unit bug - and a very annoying one that garmin should tackle.

I've seen activity on the forum around new firmware in beta testing mode. That's great but can anyone say if this super zoom bug is still present? I know its occasional but i also know i'm not alone in being frustrated by it.
