Polar Unite as HRM for Edge530

Is it possible to connect a Polar Unite watch as a HRM directly to a Garmin Edge530?

If anybody already did try this or is using now, I would love to hear your thoughts...

    Hi, yes, I use the polar H9 with no problems. I prefer it over the garmin one that came with the Edge 530 (battery lasts longer). As long as the HRM uses Bluetooth or ANT+, you shouldnt have problems
