I’ve noticed a few Bontrager Flare RT light users on here.
I was wondering if anyone had any insights into the more ‘advanced’ features when pairing with the 530.
I’m currently using it in the ‘individual’ mode which gives the correctly labelled light modes.
In auto mode it changes between day flash and night flash depending on ambient light. Is this based on the Flare or 530’s light sensor?
I’ve also noticed it seems to auto-switch between day and night modes based on time. Is this based on sunset/sunrise?
The high-visibility and trail settings I’m not sure what they do different to the auto mode. They auto switch based on time. Not sure about ambient light.
Does the auto-deceleration feature actually work? If it does, does it work only with a speed sensor paired?
Why is this all so un-intuitive?
