Garmin 530 sensors do not work

I’ve had my edge 530 for almost 12 months, from new.

I bought the HRM that was recommended with it, at the same time.

I also have shimano di2

I have never been able to connect either of these to the 530.

I have tried once a week since ownership.

HRM connects to anything and everything else first time.

Have you read through the "connecting sensors best practices" pinned at the top of this subforum? What steps to you perform and which protocol are you trying to connect with (bluetooth vs ANT)?

Connecting to di2 requires the Shimano wireless unit (EWWU111 or EWWU101).

HRM "that was recommended with it" is pretty vague - do you have specific model details?
