Running V7.00 on my Edge 530, and as per usual the device seems to crap out on longer distance rides and not my local short training loop.
On the device it show 105mi 5:45, but as soon as I go into the activity it says invalid.
I tried fit file repair tool on MS access/Home Page (kiesewetter.nl)/ FIT File Tools and the best it could do was pull 8.7 miles of the ride.
I contacted support and the best they could do was point me to FIT Files.
Around that time it got corrupted I loaded a route via 'find a course' and had no issues for the ride. I kind of surprised the support team wasn't curious at troubleshooting instead just said sorry it got lost.
Anyone have any other ideas how to recover or am I just SOL? Now I'm worried about loading up a route next time, do I need to double record my rides with my F6S and 530 to ensure nothing gets lost?
