Edge 530 + Tacx Neo 2T — spontaneously switching from power to grade mode (and one other issue)

With my Edge 530 (7.00) paired to my Tacx Neo 2T (0.0.36) I'm experiencing two problems:

  1. For no apparent reason, during an interval, the resistance shoots up — and upon checking the settings, the mode has spontaneously changed from my chosen target power mode to, grade mode. Sometimes I get through workout without this ever happening. Other times, it can occur every few minutes. Although this could be sheer coincidence, it's only happened to me while my 530 was showing the power/timeline "main" indoor workout screen. I've double-checked that no other applications are connected to my Edge 530 or Neo.
  2. (completely separate issue) If I'm doing an interval and navigate via the contextual menu to adjust my target power, it uses the power of my PRIOR interval/lap as the starting point. For example: Interval 1 — 3:00 at Z1/60watts; Interval 2 — 3:00 at Z3/180 watts… If I'm in the middle of that 180 watt interval and want to adjust it to 200, as soon as I get to the screen where I can adjust the target power I have to adjust it up from 60 watts (or whatever the target power was of my prior interval). It may sounds like a small annoyance, but it's really disruptive if you're trying to do max efforts.

Anyone experienced similar issues?

PS: I'm also having the occasional "short 0-watt dropouts" but comparatively, that's not a big deal to me.
