Yeah, same with me! Just turns off after 20 seconds no matter what setting ( battery saving / auto brightness / turnoff back-light) VERY VERY dangerous when cycling in the dark. I have to press one of the buttons to activate the back-light, and mostly at tricky crossroads to check the route, I don't feel safe at all.
Just contacted Garmin Netherlands about this because I couldn't find a support ticket. I hope they will fix it.
Btw, anyone knows how to roll back to version 6.2? I need to fix this quickly
