Power meter dropout Vector 3

Hi,

I realize that this topic comes up a couple of times in this forum but I could not find an answer about how to proceed in my case.

I'm seeing plenty of power meter reading dropouts from my Garmin Vector 3 (dual sided) to my Garmin Edge 530. About once every minute for a couple of seconds.
Software is up-to-date on all devices (Edge 530: 7.00; Vector 3: 3.80).
It happens both in ANT+ and in BLE mode.
It's *not* the dreaded Vector 3 problem because my fenix 3 records the power values continuously just fine.

I can provide the corresponding power values from the home trainer to show that the power is continuously on, i.e. there should not be any interruptions in power.

What's the next step to get this problem sorted?

You have dropouts in the speed chart also, so something not ok with your 530 (or with the enviroment), is the BT part active in 530 for mobile connect ? (or there is heavy 2.4GHz interference in the room, BT headset, 2.4GHz wifi can disturb the ANT+ or BT signal easily, so SWITCH everything OFF during the test, and check again only with trainer, bike, and the 2 headunits without any wifi internet or software which needs wifi , yes the F3 has very good radio receiver, i have F3 too)

Thank you for your answer. I have repeated the test with everything switched off (wifi & phone connection), moved the phone to another room, and am still seeing drop outs:

We can't really do much about dropouts here, next step should be to contact Garmin support: https://support.garmin.com/

do a factory reset on 530 (repair the Vectors ) and retest, if the reset wont help then follow Kurev's advice and contact with Garmin (for a replace)

There are lots of devices that use WiFi. Did you remember to turn off everything that has WiFi? Things like routers, PCs, laptops, TVs, smart appliances, thermostats, smart door bells, etc? Also if you are in a high-density neighborhood there usually 20 or more WiFi signals within your reach. Use your PC or smartphone and do a search of WiFi networks. Eliminate all of them and re-run the test again.

The problem persisted after a reset, and the 530 is now on its way to Garmin for a repair or replacement.
