Synchronize (not copy) routes on Connect and Edge 530

Is there any way to synchronize (not copy) routes between Connect and my Edge 530? It seems such an obvious thing as the Edge isn't that easy to use to manage routes for a number of reasons (limited number of visible routes, limited number of visible characters in route name, lots of button presses needed to do anything). It would be much easier to just manage the routes in either COnnect web or the phone Connect app, then synchronize them to the Edge. As an example, I added loads of routes for a recent (pre-lockdown) holiday to the Edge, and I am now unlikely to ever need them again.

    If you want to do a mass delete of Courses on the Edge, plug the Edge into your computer, and use File Explorer to delete them from the Courses subfolder.

    It's not exactly seamless, but way easier than all the button presses to do it on the Edge itself.

    Thanks, I have done that in the past but it's still a bit clunky.

    Given you can mark courses as favourites in Connect, what would be really nice would be to synchronize just the favourite courses to the Edge
