Garmin Maps and Highways

Hello all,
I come from Etrex 30x, where I used Maps from herehttp://garmin.openstreetmap.nl/

I felt that the routing was better with it. On that type I followed this tip:

  • Don't avoid highways/motorways: Motorways and other roads that are blocked for cyclists are non routable.

Now with Garmin 530 it comes with Garmin Cycling maps, and I would like to know is this is also valid., or I need to enable the option avoid highways enabled?

Anyone knows for TopoActive maps?
