Edge 530 not Syncing with Garmin Connect if Location on Phone is disabled (Android)

Hi there.. Recently i update from Edge 520 on new Edge 530.

What i noticed with 530, if i dont turn on Location on my Android Phone (Xiaomi MI A2), Edge dont connect with phone at all.. If i enable Location then will be connected ..

On my Edge 520, also on Fenix 5 i have, no need to turn on Location on Phone for connection to be possible (and syncing/uploading).

So how to solve this? ( i dont want Location turned on on my phone, but i want possbility Edge 530 to be connected to my Phone (For call/messages notification, also upload/sync)

It’s an Android requirement that users grant location permission - see e.g. android.stackexchange.com/.../why-do-i-need-to-turn-on-location-services-to-pair-with-a-bluetooth-device

I agree - because location can potentially be disclosed via bluetooth, to use the bluetooth connection on Android, you have to allow location permissions.
