Edge 530 pairing to Polar H10

Hello! Will I be able to pair my Polar H10 HRM to the Edge 530 computer? Will be nice to hear also from someone who actually did this and using it. Thank you very much!

But did you actually use it in this bundle?

And it pairs regularly just like the Garmin HRM?

Yes because it is just like any other HRM that use ANT+ and Bluetooth. There is nothing special about the Garmin one.

I use this combination too. I also use the Polar H10 with my Instinct watch. It works really well, except I notice the battery sometimes goes down really quickly on the Polar.

My solution was to completely disconnect the sensor from the strap. Since doing that six months ago, I haven't had to change my battery at all. Hopefuly it will last a lot longer .

Note: I tried unclipping one of the connectors and leaving the sensor hanging on to the strap. I thought that would break the circuit and turn off the power. And reduce the risk of me losing the fairly small sensor. But it didn't make any difference -- the batter depleted pretty fast anyway.

However unclipping the sensor completely seems to do the trick.

Also, it reminds me to give the strap a wash at the same time! That's good for hygiene and product longevity -- rinsing out the salt helps to prevent the metal parts from corroding).
