Indoor trainer following a course

I’m trying to get it so my KICKR will follow the course from Garmin connect. On my 530 I select, Training>Indoor Trainer>Follow a Course and then select a course>Ride

I’m then asked if I want to navigate to start. I’ve tried selecting yes and no and it makes no difference to the outcome. I start pedalling but although the distance increases on the data page the location maker on the map does not move and the resistance doesn’t change as it doesn’t seem to be following the course. What am I doing wrong? Latest firmware on KICKR V4 and Edge 530.

I’ve now discovered if I start peddling I do actually move a little on the map, however I then get a segment notification after about 10m. It’s at this point all map and segment progress stops. If I then stop the segment I’m on the map and moving again. If I stop that segment prior to the first turn then my map position keeps following the road instead of turning up the one it was supposed to.

Okay I think I’ve got it sorted. I’ve turned of segments and turn guidance and now it seems to work as I would like.

I have same problem. Where do you turn off segments and turn guidance?

I had same issue. There is a simple solution. Add an Indoor profile from profile default lists and it all works. Basically need to turn off GPS!
