Performance Stats - Incorrect weight used

Despite Garmin connect knowing my actual weight - in the performance stats under FTP the W/KG it is not using that data, it says last FTP was in April.. which is correct, but my weight has come down 5kg.. why is it not auto adjusting as metrics change ?

    you need a activity with Powermeter to renew the ftp with the actual weight

    I have the same issue - did an FTP test in May, lost weight since and my weight shows incorrectly. I’ve done many rides with a power meter since May and the W/Kg is still stuck. Interestingly though, it did change to begin with but is now stuck for the last 10-12 weeks. It’s right on my 830 but not on the GC App or the website. Looking around seems to indicate that “stuck” FTP values is an issue for some people going back years. Can’t see a solution anywhere.

    Maybe a new FTP test is the only way?

    There was a suggestion on one thread to enable “auto calculation” of FTP on the device. This didn’t work for me either.

    Yeah I have had it update previously on a ride (long climb in Spain) but a bit pointless as can’t add it manually and I do my FTP tests on TrainerRoad ramp test for consistency and for whatever reason that does not update it either .. not sure having my Garmin on to just measure off the turbo will work but will try that next  and see.. poor of Garmin to lock this out makes no sense to me ..

    I have the same issue since few weeks. My device edge 830 shows correct W/Kg with my actual weight. However Connect App and Connect Website are stuck with old W/Kg value (with old weight). It used to adjust in seconds after weight change, but not anymore

    Same here, weight seems stuck, despite daily entries going down. Weird!!

    Mine had updated after a few trainings together with the ftp value

    Same here, the FTP value (from Zwift) which I entered manually on the device, has never been transferred to Garmin connect.

    Same problem, FTP calculator takes the weight reading from the first time the EDGE 530 was used... does not update in line with the registered weight on Garmin Connect and both my 245 & 530.

    Same issue. Weight used for W/kg calculcation stuck in Garmin Connect despite being updated manually

    Try updating the FTP value manually and it should then re sync with the weight you have logged at that time. Worked for me. Wink
