If you are using the aero mount (having the Edge in front of your handlebars), you have two options to increase the volume, at least a bit: Use the small mount (with the rubber rings) and attach it to your stem. The sound of the beeper will be reflected by the stem which will increase the perceived volume. Glue some kind of plastic card (an old credit card or something similar) under the aero mount, so the the sound will be reflected. It may be not much, but for me, option (1) made the difference between "Nah, this won't work for me, I'll send it back" and "Still could be louder, but I can use it like that".

[HowTo] increase the beeper volume (a bit)

It may be not much, but for me, option (1) made the difference between "Nah, this won't work for me, I'll send it back" and "Still could be louder, but I can use it like that".
