Did an 80km ride following a route on Komoot with the IQ app. Navigation worked as normal but when I finished the route the 530 would not offer an option to save the ride. It would not let me turn off the 530 as it said the IQ app was still running - but I had already stopped the route and there was no other way to close the IQ app. Tried holding down the power button but it would not switch off. Orange box was round the data screen to show it was paused but it still recorded the drive home. The only way I could get it to go off was to plug it in to Garmin Connect, which seemed to upload the cycle+drive to Strava. Shoddy.
And while I am here, where is this promised upgrade - as seen on the 1030 Plus - to address all the weaknesses in the 530 navigation?
