Today's 3 rides not showing in unit history, nor the previous rides since new in Mar 2020.

Bought the unit in March 2020, no issues until today. I've done 3 separate rides today and none of them are showing in the units history, neither are the many previous rides since I bought it.. However, when plugged into laptop, I can see and manually upload the activity Fit files? So they are in the unit, but are not being displayed without USB hook up to a laptop. Have checked that I'm on latest software. Any ideas?

For the rides not showing up, were they indoor or outdoor? I've had a few issues way back where I thought my rides weren't showing up but it was for indoor rides when the unit's date was not correct. So they showed up for an unexpected date. Are the rides sync'ed to Garmin Connect?

All 3 outdoors. 2 x road & 1 x mtb profiles. It is however showing 2 x rides from xmas 2019 when I didnt have this unit. It does sync with Garmin Connect usually.

I have the same issue since last week. I could upload them to connect taping the button “upload new ride” after my ride. They are on my phone and sync to Strava but no trace of those in history...

anyone had this?

How many rides do you have saved in the Activities folder on your edge.? The limit is 200

I got 196. I ll try to remove the past and see if that occurs again

The limit isn't exactly 200 and appears to be slightly variable but it is somewhere in that region. Clearing the activities folder will likely fix the issue.

I have an issue that my home wifi signal can be volatile, so when i finish rides at home and the unit tries to synch onto GC via my phone it can pause. I've then gone into my activities folder in the unit itself to do the "upload ride" and also seen that there are no activities for 9 months according to the dates and these are for outdoor rides. But if i go to my laptop garmin folder, like the OP, i see them. What is the answer to this please? I've cleared old rides on my unit when everything is synched but still had the issue.
