Garmin 530 connected perfectly with my iPhone 7, then it stopped. I went to online and remove my device, removed the app and reinstalled but it will not recognize the 530. Help

I try to add my Garmin 530 but when I select the Edge 50 on the select an accessory, I pick the 530, the Garmin devise asked allow connection from Ron Mieru's Iphone, but when I select O)K i get an error message on my iPhone, Connection Unsuccessful, "iPhone can no longer connect to "(BT) Edge 530" Forget this device and pir it again". I have done this a dozen times, and removed the app from my iPhone twice and it still will not pair. Help, I love my 530.

  • You need to also remove both EDGE 530 connections from your iPhone's Bluetooth menu. It has a normal bluetooth connection and a BLE connection. Forget both these. Now try adding a new device in the Connect app.

    Its annoying and convoluted and not always logical. Hope its an easy fix

  • I have the same issue with iPhone 11 and 5.51 beta.  Worked perfect for 7-weeks, now today no iPhone connection.  I removed both IDs from Bluetooth menu and still cannot connect with Connect app after initial connection to (BT)Edge 530 and request to pair.   Connect app will attempt to complete connection without success.
