My Garmin Connect Calendar shows has an active training plan but post sync there is no training plan or workout on the EDGE.

I've signed up to one of the free Garmin Connect training plans, after activating the plan my calendar on the GC app and website is populated with all the workouts. However post sync with my device non of the workouts or training plan details have made it across, what am I doing wrong? The only option I have under Training Plan is 'Find a course', 'Weather' and 'Find a Workout'.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Time Trial phase 1: Base (heartrate)

  • Same issue for me, added Gran Fondo Phase 1: Base to my GC and I can see all the workouts on the mobile app, but the only way to have some of the workouts in my Edge 530 is to manually edit one. Some made it across, but not all. Also, the aerobic workouts (e.g. 1h ride) cannot be started, there is no option for it.

I have the same issue with my Edge 1030. Yesterday's training plan workout was synced to it but today's and all future ones appear to be missing. I've tried syncing it with Garmin Express because it has been really problematic trying to sync it to the Garmin Connect app on my android phone

I have the same problem on the 530.
Any training plan is visible in the application or on the computer, when synchronized, Garmin Express pretends to have sent the plan to the devices.
But on devices - 530 and 645, no plans appear.

  • Do you have other workouts on your device? There is a limit to how many workouts you can have on the device. Delete every workout on your device and then try to sync again.

Yes, but I did it on the first problem.
I cleared both devices from training, my memory is clear. If you create a single workout or a distance, everything is synchronized. Plans are not.

    Sorry for my bad english

Nothing works. Individual self-made workouts are beautifully loaded. Plans are not loaded in any way. Problem with plans from Garmin servers?

  • I had this issue on my Edge 1030. I went to the calendar in Garmin connect and changed the date of one of the activities in the plan. That cased the whole plan to resync on my device. I then changed it back, so everything is now as it was before they all disappeared.
